medication pricing is subject to pharmacy availability and may change. we work with multiple compounding pharmacies to give you options. compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are available in personalized dosages or compounded with B vitamins, for patients for whom it is indicated, at prices that may vary from those listed above. prescriptions will be sent to 503A compounding pharmacies unless otherwise requested by a patient.
name brand, FDA-approved GLP-1 medications are available at $499 per month (subject to change at manufacturer's discretion) without insurance if medically indicated, but potentially much less if your insurance covers the medication. non-GLP-1 medications may be covered entirely by your insurance, but are often available in generic form for $20 or less regardless of insurance coverage.
texas obesity medicine will always strive to ensure that patients receive the best, medically-indicated care at the most affordable prices. our clinic is not in-network with insurance or medicare/medicaid, so we can offer the best prices on patient care directly to you. we can assist with requesting reimbursement from insurance, but patients on medicare/medicaid must not request reimbursement for their visits.
