What Makes Texas Obesity Medicine Different
There’s no shortage of weight loss clinics out there—but not all of them are built with the same priorities. If you’ve tried other programs and walked away feeling overwhelmed, upsold, or just plain ignored, you’re not alone.
Our clinic was founded to offer something different: medically responsible, GLP-1–based weight loss care, fully online, with no hidden agendas. We’re proud to serve patients throughout Texas, under the direction of our lead physician, Dr. Tran Le, a board-certified obesity medicine specialist.
Here’s what sets us apart.
1. Weight Loss Is the Only Thing We Treat
We don’t offer Botox. We don’t push hormone pellets or skincare routines. We don’t treat erectile dysfunction, sell supplements, or try to be a jack-of-all-trades. We focus exclusively on medically guided weight loss using GLP-1 medications, because that’s where our expertise is—and it’s what we do best.
By keeping our practice tightly focused, we’re able to stay current, offer clear guidance, and give our patients the kind of care that comes from deep experience in one domain—not surface-level experience in ten.
2. Led by an Obesity Medicine Specialist
Dr. Tran Le is a Texas- and Utah-licensed physician and diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She’s not a part-time telehealth contractor or a rotating name behind a screen. She sets the standard of care in our clinic and personally oversees treatment protocols.
When you sign up, you’ll be evaluated by a licensed medical provider trained in weight management—not a generic prescriber using a checklist. We believe patients deserve more than that.
3. Fully Online—But Fully Human
Our clinic is 100% telemedicine. That means no waiting rooms, no driving across town, and no awkward weigh-ins at the front desk. But unlike some national programs that operate like vending machines, our care model is personal. (Note: If you are in the Houston-area, you can schedule an in-person appointment.)
You’ll complete a secure intake, meet with a provider who reviews your history and goals, and—if you qualify—receive a prescription for GLP-1 medication sent to a pharmacy or directly to your home. You’ll also be able to message your provider with questions and get thoughtful responses, not copy-pasted templates.
4. We Offer Name-Brand and Compounded GLP-1 Medications—With Clarity
We prescribe name-brand GLP-1 medications like Wegovy®, Zepbound™, Ozempic®, and Mounjaro® when appropriate and available. If compounded medications are appropriate and medically necessary, they may be less expensive than name-brand medications. We explain the differences clearly so that patients can make informed decisions.
We never claim that compounded medications are “exactly the same,” and we don’t pretend they’re FDA-approved. Our role is to help patients navigate their options, transparently and without pressure.
5. Simple Pricing and a Free First Consultation
Your initial consultation is completely free. If you’re eligible and want to move forward, you’ll join our single all-inclusive membership. That includes your medical evaluation, prescription management, and ongoing provider support—nothing more to buy, no confusing tiers, and no surprise fees later.
We don’t offer gimmicks. We offer a clear path, backed by medical training and focused on your goals.
6. No Upsells. No Add-Ons. No Bait-and-Switch.
Some clinics offer weight loss as a gateway to sell cosmetic services or stack on unrelated treatments. We don’t. You won’t be pitched testosterone shots, vitamin IVs, or additional medications at every turn.
We believe that if weight loss is your goal, that’s where our focus should stay.
The Bottom Line
Losing weight is hard enough without having to guess whether your clinic has your best interests in mind. At our practice, we keep it simple: medically guided weight loss, GLP-1 focused, Texas patients, entirely online.
If you’re looking for thoughtful care, from a clinic that knows what it’s doing and respects your time, we’d be glad to meet you.
Your first consultation is free. No pressure, no strings attached.
